North American games developer Pixabite bring you a strategy-based MMOG set in the dark ages. The free browser game Dark Age Wars combines elements of construction, combat and governance to bring you a tactical empire-building game.

Dark Age Wars was launched into the Open Beta in 2009, and currently has over 35,000 members registered to play. The tactical browser game is set in medieval times, and puts you in the role of the leader of your own mighty empire.

You start the online game Dark Age Wars by expanding and constructing your own settlement. This is done by gathering and looting resources, and using them to construct various dwellings such as mines, quarries, barracks and lumber mills. Following this you must manage and lead your own strong battalion of soldiers on raids, espionage missions or unprecedented attacks against other settlements.

By trading your resources with other players, you increase the wealth of your empire in Dark Age Wars. Strive to rule the land and run the mightiest and most dominant empire in all of history.
